Meet Warrior Jules
A little of my story…
I didn’t arrive at yoga searching for stillness.
In fact, my early years were rooted in strength, sport and pushing through.
I came from a sporting background — years as a Rugby Union player, coach and referee — where strength, resilience and pushing through were part of my identity. But injury and illness began to shift that story. Living with Atypical Facial Pain and recurring back issues forced me to slow down in ways I hadn’t chosen.
Yoga began as a physical support.
It became something far deeper.
It gave me space.
Space to breathe.
Space to feel.
Space to reconnect with who I was beneath performance, pressure and expectation.
Over time, yoga became not just something I practised, but something I lived.
In 2018, after years of personal practice, I stepped away from corporate life and travelled to Bali to complete my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in the Tantric Hatha tradition at Zuna Yoga. That sabbatical — combined with solo travel — marked the beginning of what I now call my conscious reset.
Returning to corporate work briefly after that period made something clear: my body knew when I was out of alignment. My pain flared. My energy depleted. My nervous system spoke loudly.
In 2022, I chose to leave that chapter fully and relocate from Norfolk to Lincolnshire to build a life and business that felt authentic, sustainable and aligned.
That choice wasn’t about escape.
It was about courage.
The courage to begin again in midlife.
Today, I support others navigating their own transitions — whether that’s career change, burnout, perimenopause, menopause, retirement, injury recovery or simply the quiet sense that something needs to shift.
My teaching blends:
Mindful strength and mobility for evolving bodies
Nervous system regulation through breathwork
Yogic philosophy and energy systems (Prana, Chakras, Kundalini Shakti)
A grounded understanding that energy is both spiritual and scientific
I am deeply curious about the unseen forces that move through us — known across cultures as Prana, Chi, Qi or Ki. This exploration has led me into Reiki (First Degree Shoden in the Usui System of Natural Healing) and continued study of subtle awareness and energetic presence.
My classes are supportive, adaptable and welcoming. You will never be asked to perform. You will be encouraged to listen. To unlearn. To move in a way that supports where you are now — not where you used to be.
Because life is not linear.
Sometimes we move forward.
Sometimes we circle back.
Sometimes we pause before we rise.
Through movement, breath and conscious awareness, my intention is simple:
That you leave grounded.
Rested.
Uplifted.
Warmest wishes,
Jules 🌿
