Long Sutton Photography Group - 2025 Annual Exhibition

Long Sutton Photography Group – 2025 Annual Exhibition
Photography by Julie Wilkin (Warrior Jules)

In September 2025, I had the pleasure of taking part in the Long Sutton Photography Group’s Annual Amateur Photography Exhibition. Each participating photographer was invited to select a theme at random, and I was gifted the theme of Graffiti — a subject that turned out to be both inspiring and unexpectedly grounding.

Graffiti speaks of expression, freedom, and creativity in its rawest form. While exploring this theme, I was fortunate to spend time in London, witnessing artists as they worked — fully immersed, allowing their creative energy to flow freely onto walls and spaces that might otherwise go unnoticed. Observing this process invited me into a deep sense of presence, reminding me of the beauty that arises when we give ourselves permission to be fully in the moment.

These photographs are a reflection of that experience — moments of colour, movement, stillness, and story captured through my lens. As both a yoga teacher and an amateur photographer, I’m naturally drawn to images that hold energy, emotion, and a quiet sense of connection. I hope these photographs bring you a little joy, spark curiosity, or perhaps invite you to pause and see everyday spaces through a slightly different perspective.

I warmly welcome your thoughts, reflections, or comments on these images. If you feel drawn to a particular photograph and would like to know more about it, or if you are interested in purchasing a print, please feel free to get in touch with me at jules@warriorjules.co.uk. I’d be very happy to share more details and help you find a piece that feels right for your space.

Thank you for your support, and for taking a moment to experience my photographs from this year’s exhibition.

With gratitude,
Jules
