From Chaos to Calm

From Chaos to Calm is a slower, more intentional offering, created for those who feel called to deepen their yoga practice beyond movement.

This class weaves together gentle Hatha yoga, Yin and Restorative postures, breathwork, meditation, and Yoga Nidra, while gently introducing the deeper layers of yogic philosophy.

Together, we explore the teachings of yoga as a way of understanding the mind, calming the nervous system, and reconnecting to a quieter, steadier part of ourselves.

At the heart of this practice is the yogic principle:
“citta vṛtti nirodhaḥ” — the calming of the fluctuations of the mind.

This is not just a yoga class…
It is a space to pause, reflect, and come home to yourself.

This offering is more than physical practice. It is an immersive, meditative experience where:

  • January – Winter Pause: a time to rest deeply and nurture your inner light. (Look out for gentle online offerings.)

  • February – Winter Pause: honouring stillness and renewal before spring’s return. (Look out for gentle online offerings.)

  • March 27th– A little change this month as we honour the Easter rhythm.

  • April – No Class: Good Friday falls on the 1st Friday of April — an invitation to rest and reflect.

  • May 1st – Welcoming the light and warmth of early summer.

  • June 5th – A gentle mid-summer practice to balance energy and ease.

  • July 3rd – Flow into the fullness of summer with calm and presence.

  • August – Summer Pause: space to breathe, rest, and reconnect. (Look out for special offerings.)

  • September 4th – Grounding into autumn’s rhythm of change.

  • October 2nd – A nurturing practice as we turn inward with the season.

  • November 6th – Rest and replenish before the year’s close.

  • December– Winter Pause: time for reflection, gratitude, and gentle stillness. (Look out for peaceful online offerings.)

Rest & Restore is a monthly sanctuary — a space to gently release, soften, and rest deeply.
Through a harmonious blend of restorative postures, mindful hatha flow, breathwork, and guided meditation, you’ll be invited to surrender stress and reconnect with peace.
We close each session with a longer Savasana, Meditation, or Yoga Nidra — the art of conscious rest.

Each class includes a small, thoughtful gift to take home — a reminder to continue your self-care and calm beyond the mat.
