Yoga Foundations for Beginners
A 4-Week Journey in Yoga Foundations — One Saturday at a Time

This course is designed for those new to yoga or returning after time away. We’ll gently explore the basics — the foundational building blocks that help you feel confident, safe, and steady in your practice before stepping into regular classes.
Weekly Journey
Week 1 — Rooting: Breath, Support & Awareness
We begin with the basics of breath and gentle movement, allowing you to feel grounded and steady in your body. You’ll learn how to connect breath and movement, explore simple postures, and discover how yoga begins from within.
Week 2 — Growing: Shape, Alignment & Stability
We continue to explore the foundational shapes of yoga postures. You’ll learn how to adapt and modify poses to suit your unique body, building confidence and steadiness as you practice.
Week 3 — Flowing: Moving with Breath & Grace
We gently explore the foundations of Sun Salutations — breaking them down step-by-step to remove overwhelm. You’ll discover how this sequence can be adapted in many ways, allowing you to build and expand in future practices.
Week 4 — Resting: Stillness, Release & Integration
Our final week invites you into restorative postures and guided relaxation. This is a space to soften, release tension, and integrate everything you’ve learned — supporting the nervous system and cultivating inner calm.
